  The Elusive Jillian Wilson

This is all the fault of that Oliver family. Now she has to save herself and the sexy head of the Oliver clan, Vincent Oliver, from the basement of a burning building. All she has to do is get out of the cuffs and off the hook holding her off the ground, save Vince, and get on with her life, right?

Vince wakes up cradled in a woman's embrace with a nipple resting on his bottom lip. What else would a red-blooded man do other than take the invitation?

  Chapter 1

Jillian Wilson was taking a chance in trying to get a foot in the door without an appointment. She really didn’t mind waiting for her potential client to show up. After all, his secretary had made certain she knew where the ladies’ room was and gotten her a tasty cinnamon roll with a hot cup of creamy coffee before she left.

Beatrice had been rushed but made Jill feel welcome before she explained about the phone call from her son’s school telling her that he was feeling ill and she had to go get him.

She sat at a small desk filling out her planner with prospective clients when she heard a strange sound coming from the big wooden door past the secretary’s desk. The door was slightly ajar, and Jill was pretty sure that the occupants of the room were not aware of it. The people must have entered through another door to get into the office.

“Please help me, Vince. I swear this is the last time. Please?”

A woman’s voice begging was not what Jill expected to hear. The deep male voice telling her to get up and get out of his office sounded disgusted.

“I warned you, Melody, I told you that if you cheated then you were gone. Stop this and leave. I will make sure you have enough money to keep you happy for two more weeks, then I am never going to think of you again. Don’t call me, don’t beg me, and don’t ever tell another person that we are or were engaged.

“We were fuck buddies. That is all we ever were, no more and no less. Any one that believed I would marry a round-heeled woman ten years my senior has to be crippled in the head to begin with.”

“You really shouldn’t treat me like this, Vince.”

Jill jumped when she heard a gunshot. The man yelled, “What the fuck are you doing?” Jillian ran for cover.

“I gave you everything, you kinky, selfish bastard. I let you tie me up and even fuck me in the ass. You think you are too good for me? I’ll show you too good, you son-of-a-bitch. You made me beg you to whip my ass and fuck me, and you have the nerve to tell me I cheated? Yes, I had sex with your friend Milo. He told me you said I should. Now I am not good enough for your golden fucking cock?

“I want you to suffer just like me. I ache from wanting you to take me in any way that it is possible. Hell, I am even debasing myself right now because I am wearing that donkey-sized butt plug you gave me last time we were together.”

“Put the fucking gun down, Melody. We both know that you fucked Milo because you were trying to get even with me. You also fucked George Thomas and his partner, Clive. Just because they are British doesn’t mean that they are as kinky as you are. They called me asking me where they could learn to do the things you begged them to do so they could satisfy you. Fucking stereotypes, you dumb bitch. Next time you pick a lover or lovers in this case, don’t assume that just because you heard that British men liked to play with kinky sex that all of them do.

“As far as you allowing me to tie you up and fuck you in the ass? Yes, I like to have a woman that wants to be treated like that and enjoys the same kind of playtime I like. You came to me, remember?”

Jill squirmed behind the file drawers. She didn’t want to hear all of this, but she needed the job desperately. Privately she thought the things they were describing didn’t sound all that kinky, well, maybe the donkey-sized butt plug. That had never entered into her fantasies.

The Vince had to be Vincent Oliver, owner of Oliver International. They imported anything from olive oil to fancy sports cars for the rich and famous. The man was rich and definitely famous himself. If Jillian could get the cleaning contract for this high-rise in Atlanta, then she could start her business and remain independent. She would have to drop her drea
ms of becoming a big fish in a little pond and swim with the minnows again if this chance failed.

Jill’s musings were interrupted by the dumb ass that just taunted the woman with a gun.

“Put the gun down, Melody. You know you asked for everything I did to you. I gave you the butt plug because you told Clive that my cock was not enough to satisfy your needs. The fact that it fits in your ass just tells me that you were right. I should have known that you were more experienced in sodomy than you pretended to be when your asshole felt loose instead of nice and tight like a good ass should feel around my cock.”

Jillian was in sympathy with the gun-toting Melody now. That idiot was taunting the woman. The next shot made Jillian jump again, but this time she was not surprised. The arrogant ass should have placated the woman instead of taunting her like that. Jill pawed through her purse trying to find her cell phone, then remembered it was on the charger in the car. Damn, there was no way to leave without alerting the people in the next room. So she crawled on her belly to get to the secretary’s desk phone.

Jill reached her hand up and felt around in the general direction of the phone, finally locating it, and grabbed the handheld to bring it down to her level. Her fingers fumbled around with the number pad to find the right keys to punch for 911.

Another shot and yet another sounded just as the emergency operator answered, “911, what’s your emergency?”

Jillian whispered into the phone with her hand clasped over the mouthpiece and told them where she was. The next two gunshots were loud enough for the operator to hear.

“The one with the gun is called Melody, and she has Vincent Oliver cornered in his office. Look, if you make a lot of noise she might get crazier than she is, just please be discreet. I have to get back behind the cabinet. I am afraid of stray bullets.” Jill left the handset on the floor and snaked her way back to her hiding spot.

“You dumb fucking cunt. You shot me in the leg. Now that your ego has been satisfied, get the hell out of here.”

Jill heard masculine groans and then a woman’s laugh. How stupid was this man? Taunting a bitter ex-lover and then ordering her around? His arrogance was going to get him killed, and Jillian would tell the coroner that cause of death was his own mouth. Suicide more than any bullet would be the cause.

“I loved you, and you just threw me away like an old tie. I hope it hurts. I want you to suffer just like I suffered when you told me we were through and then stopped taking my calls for the past month. I like watching you bleed like the pig you are. I bet you have some little tramp to replace me already.”

“You don’t love me. You love my money and the bragging rights of dating a young, rich guy like me for a month. I was not the first and damn sure not the last man to plow that well-traveled road. Put that gun down and leave. I told you at the beginning when you slipped into my hotel room and I woke to find you sucking my cock that we could not be anything more than playmates. You even fucked up with that.

The big fish you thought you had was not even the right one. My uncle is the king of this palace, you dumb fuck. I was named after him. Did it ever occur to you that I am only twenty-three? How in the hell would I build something like this? You are just another aging cunt on the lookout for an easy life.”

The scream of outrage echoed in the room. “What? You son of a bitch. I wasted my time with a pissant like you, and you let me think that you were the Vincent Oliver? Well then, I will be doing the next woman you try to fuck over a favor by killing you before she meets your lying ass.”

“Hell, Melody, just stop this. Go find Clive and George and see if they will support you and not mind if you fuck anything with a cock hanging between his legs.”

Jill could hear the weariness in Vincent Oliver’s voice. It seemed that even blood loss would not shut him up.

The next shot must have hit something serious because he didn’t say anything else to taunt the mad Melody. All Jillian heard was a scream and a thunk. She heard sobbing and the sound of Melody rustling through drawers, muttering about Vincent being a stupid bastard that ruined the girl’s plans.

Jill crawled out of her hiding place when Melody said, “If I hadn’t run out of bullets, I would fill your dead ass with more holes, you fucking bastard.”

Jill peeked around the slit in the doorway to see Melody kick the body of a man lying at her feet. She held what Jill assumed was Vincent’s wallet and pulled out a wad of cash before dropping the wallet on top of his body. The woman picked up a semiautomatic handgun and wiped her prints from the gun and dropped it into the pitcher of water on the small bar in the corner. In a last act of contempt, Melody stood over Vincent and spit on him before Jill watched her open a door behind the bookcase and calmly walk out of the room.

There was no one to witness when she felt the heel of her expensive stiletto break and she tried to overcorrect her balance to remove the shoes. She grabbed for the railing and lurched to the side at the same time, causing her hand to slip from the rail as she tumbled down the unforgiving concrete steps. She tried to protect her face with one hand and stop the momentum of her body’s freefall with the other hand with nothing to grab onto. The back of her head cracked against the cement wall then bounced forward as she landed facedown with her body spread over the last five steps.

Jill grabbed the handset of the phone with the 911 operator, and after making sure she had left the line open, Jill told the woman that Melody had left out of the back entrance and to please send an ambulance then hung up the line and hurried into the office.

She stopped in her tracks when the puddle of blood made a squishy noise as she stepped next to the body of one of the most handsome men she had ever seen. He was young, younger than his reputation purported him to be. Then she remembered that this wasn’t the CEO of Oliver International after all.

The majority of the blood seemed to be coming from two wounds, one on the leg and the other on his right shoulder. Then she noticed that his thick brown hair was rapidly becoming wet, so Jill added a possible head wound to the list of wounds the young man suffered. Jill looked around for something to stop the blood from running out of the wounds and could see nothing. Well, damn.

Jill pulled off one of her thigh-high stockings and tied it around the top of his thigh, hoping that she was doing it right. She yanked her white, silky nylon blouse over her head without bothering to unbutton it then ripped the seams to make a thick pad for the ugly wounds. She hoped the medic got there before the young man died from blood loss.

“Sorry, Vincent Oliver the big mouth, I am not a nurse, and we should both feel fortunate that I have not thrown up in this pool of your blood. What on earth made you taunt her like that?

“It’s a wonder that some woman hasn’t shot you before with that attitude. You should have more respect for women anyway. And since we are on the subject of women, what are you doing with a woman like that? You should be dating girls your own age and treating them to a movie or a decent meal, not playing kinky sex games with a woman as old and experienced as Melody. You are very lucky I am not your mom. I would have spanked your butt more often if I was, that is a fact.”

When the police and medics finally found them, she was crouched over Vincent Oliver with both hands soaked in his blood as she applied pressure to the seeping wounds. She was still lecturing the young man as if she had the right to read him the riot act.

Strong hands picked her up and away from the body of the young man and sat her in the office chair. When Jill happened to focus on the wall clock, she began absorbing the knowledge that her day had been ruined in the span of an hour. She looked down at herself and almost giggled to see her breasts halfway covered by the industrial, elasticized white bra. Even that was ruined, with the cups grotesquely painted in bloody red and drying brown blood stains. Her hands were bloody to the wrists with more rivulets that dried on her forearms. Her knees and legs were as bloody as her hands from kneeling in the man’s blood. She noted that one leg was still encased in ny
lon and started to cry. When she raised her hands to hide her face, she saw the blood and had to fight back the nausea.

Jillian could have used a friend to call. Unfortunately, her best friend, Kelly, was on her honeymoon somewhere soaking up the Italian countryside and enjoying the multitude of vineyards she and her new husband planned to visit. Jill’s parents were still in California visiting her sister and their new baby, so that left Jill pretty much on her own.

The ambulance had taken Vincent Oliver away after stabilizing him, and the police gathered evidence all around her. A man with a video camera was filming everything, and Jill tried to turn her head away so her face wouldn’t be plastered all over the television on tonight’s news. There was a folder on the desk, and Jill grabbed that to hold open, surrounding her face and neck. The video-camera guy must have noticed her sitting there and came closer, asking her to drop the folder and let him video her statement.

“Go away. Leave me alone” did not seem to be working, so Jill elbowed the man in his large belly and stood up with the folder still over her face. She made her way to the office door, bouncing off things a few times as she found her way into the reception area. Under the folder, Jill looked around for her purse and leaned down to pick it up then slowly made her way to the bathroom door that Beatrice had shown her earlier.

Jill almost passed out when she got a good look at herself in the mirror. She looked like one of those zombie apocalypse pictures that were so popular nowadays. Blood was splattered everywhere, even in her blonde hair. She looked around and found towelettes, but using those would take forever to try and clean off all the drying blood. There was nothing to do but wash the blood off of her hands and then work on the rest, she told herself and turned the water on. She peeled off the bloody stocking, not worrying about the speckled look of her legs where the brown spots had soaked through the nylon. Her skirt was ruined, but it was at least black, so she would be able to leave that on since she had nothing to replace it with. Staring at the mirror was a mistake.
